Precise, sustained pressure applied to points on the feet — a treatment clients commonly book for deep relaxation and general wellbeing.
Appointments take place in our private home-based treatment studio in Sippy Downs.
Reflexology is focused, methodical pressure work on the feet, applied with the thumbs and fingers. Rather than the flowing strokes of a foot massage, it works point by point in a deliberate sequence across the soles, arches, heels, ankles and toes.
The pace is slow and the contact is firm and specific. Many clients are surprised at how relaxing it is to have nothing but the feet attended to for an hour — the narrow focus seems to help the mind settle rather than wander.
The feet do a great deal of work and get very little attention, which is part of why the treatment tends to feel disproportionately good for the area involved.
Reflexology is offered here as a relaxation and wellbeing treatment. It is not used to diagnose, identify or treat conditions elsewhere in the body.
Firm and specific rather than broad. Some points feel more sensitive than others, which is normal and not a diagnosis of anything.
The pressure is adjustable throughout. Firm on the soles is usually comfortable, while the top of the foot and around the ankle bones needs a lighter touch.
If you are ticklish, say so at the start. Firmer, more deliberate contact is far less ticklish than light touch, and the treatment can be adapted.

No — just shoes and socks. You stay clothed for the whole treatment, which makes it a good option if undressing for a massage does not appeal to you.
It should feel firm rather than painful. Some points are more sensitive than others, which is normal. Pressure is adjusted whenever you ask.
Yes, and it is worth mentioning at the start. Firm, deliberate contact is much less ticklish than light touch, and the treatment can be adapted for you.
Sixty minutes covers the feet thoroughly. The 75 and 90 minute sessions allow time on the lower legs as well, which is worth it if you are on your feet all day.
