Flowing, even, unhurried strokes designed to help you switch off. The treatment where the goal is simply to feel calm afterwards.
Appointments take place in our private home-based treatment studio in Sippy Downs.
Relaxation massage uses long, flowing strokes with oil, applied at a consistent, unhurried rhythm across the body. Rather than concentrating on one problem area, it moves through the back, shoulders, arms, legs, neck and head so the whole body settles.
The pressure is light to medium and stays steady. Nothing is worked aggressively, and there are no sudden changes of pace — the predictability is part of what allows you to stop paying attention and drift.
It is the most straightforwardly enjoyable treatment on the menu, and there is nothing lightweight about choosing it. Plenty of clients book relaxation massage specifically because they do not want to be asked where it hurts.
Light to medium, and consistent. If you want firmer work on a particular spot you can absolutely ask — but the treatment is designed around comfort rather than depth.
If you would like most of the hour spent on your back and shoulders, or the head massage extended, say so at the start. It is your hour.
You do not have to talk. Many clients prefer the treatment in near silence, and that is completely fine — just say so.
Relaxation massage moves through the whole body with flowing, even strokes at a gentle to medium pressure, with the goal of helping you unwind. Remedial massage concentrates firmer, more sustained work on specific areas of tension.
You undress to your comfort level. You are draped with towels for the entire treatment and only the area being worked on is uncovered at any time. If you would prefer to stay clothed, Thai massage is performed fully clothed.
Not at all. Many clients prefer near silence. Just let Lee know at the start and the conversation will stop there.
It may help you feel more comfortable, but if you have a specific area of tightness you want addressed, remedial or deep tissue massage is the better use of the hour. Describe what is bothering you when you call and Lee can suggest which to book.
Whatever fits your life. Some clients come monthly as a standing break, others when they notice they need it. There is no pressure to commit to a schedule.
Request a time using the booking form, or call Lee to talk through which treatment suits you best.
